If the Refugee Protection Division refused your claim, that is not necessarily the end. The Refugee Appeal Division (RAD) can review the decision. The RAD can confirm the refusal, overturn it and grant you protection, or send your case back for a new hearing. But the window is short and the appeal must be built on the right legal errors and evidence.
